Steadfast Love
By Lauren Chandler
There are times in our lives when worship overflows and times when God seems far away and we have nothing to offer. Through it all, God shows us His steadfast love. In Psalm 107 God is calling us to worship, to learn to face storms or deserts with courage and trust, and to discover how tests in our journeys reveal the true condition of our hearts. There is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love.

Women, join us this fall for Steadfast Love, A Study of Psalm 107 beginning Tuesday, September 18 at 9:30am for brunch OR 6:30pm for dinner. Cost for the morning study is $30, and $25 for the evening study. Childcare is available for the morning sessions only. Registration begins Sunday, September 2, in the lobby or online.

We’ll have a special craft, Christmas cookies, hear special speakers (Rees and Sara Bettinger), and sing Christmas carols. Cost is $10. Register online or in the lobby on Sundays. Registration deadline is Sunday, November 25. You won’t want to miss it!

Retreat

"To Retreat" means to leave our normally occupied positions and GO to a place of safety, quiet and seclusion. By going to a retreat, we physically remove ourselves from life's distractions, the demands of people in order to make space for God. Even Jesus recognized the value and need to get away. (Mark 1:35 "Very early in the morning Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place where He prayed".) The Women's Ministry Team provides  an occasional"Retreat" where women come to be refreshed, inspired, spend time with God and to each other. The next is planned to be Fall 2019. Check back for details.
