Upcoming Events!
We are excited to gather together for some fun fellowship throughout the year!
Check back for events as they come up.
Sunday @ 10:30am: Welcome to The Big God Story!
Nursery: Newborn to 3-years-old
Our nursery is a safe and caring environment for your little ones to come to as they begin to learn about God. We have loving, smiley-faced caregivers with cuddly arms who would love to spend time with your baby/toddler as they read Bible stories, sing songs, pray, and of course play! A nursing mother’s room is located in the nursery and is always open for your convenience.
Preschool: 3 years-old to Kindergarten
Kids begin to dive deeper as they learn about God and explore how they can respond to Him in a variety of transformation environments. Each week they’ll uncover a mystery in the Wardrobe of Wonder, learn more about Jesus through storytelling, and engage deeper with the story through crafts, activities, and worship. They’ll leave with a blessing to carry with them through the week.
Elementary: 1st to 5th Grade
Kids move through a creative environment designed to spark curiosity, cultivate a sense of awe and wonder about God, and help them seek and respond to God’s work in their lives. They are encouraged to discover their place in The Big God Story through storytelling, worship, spiritual conversations, contemplative stations, and meaningful projects in both large and small groups. Teachers say a blessing over each child before they leave.

Baptisms
So you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, what’s next? GPBC is excited to offer baptisms for anyone who would like to publicly declare their faith! This is a time of celebration for our entire faith community and would love to share it with you. If you would like more information on baptism, email one of our pastors or our Children's Ministry director, Donna Hardman.
Child Dedication
Child dedication is a public sign that parents are seeking to bring their children up in the ways of Jesus, set them apart, and present them to God. By dedicating a child, a parent promises to follow God and accept His help in nurturing a vibrant faith in the life of the child. If you would like to take this important step, please contact Donna Hardman to begin the process.

Volunteer
God is doing amazing things in the children’s programs at GPBC! We would love for you to join our team. Are you a computer nerd? Do you like to sew, make crafts, or beautiful artwork? Would you like to walk alongside and make a difference in a child's life? We’ve got immediate needs for volunteers in our children’s ministry in a variety of different roles. Our kids need special people like you now. Sunday morning children's classroom volunteers serve one Sunday a month. We have needs in our nursery and preschool and elementary ministries. We could also use computer support on Sundays. Additionally, if you have time during the week, we have many projects that come up mid-week that we could use a hand with on an as-needed basis. Please reach out to our children’s ministry director, Donna Hardman, right away at or 971-231-4998 to ask questions or to sign up.
