NEW JANUARY MEN’S BIBLE STUDY
All men are invited to gather on Wednesday mornings, 7:00-8:30am, beginning January 3, as we begin a new study, “Walking in Hope,” on the letter of Colossians. As we know “hope” is in short supply today, but it doesn’t have to be so. Every one of us in some manner hopes for help, but the source of that help can be widespread. The Apostle Paul writes this letter to a church that he had heard was being tempted by false teachers to place their hope in something else other than Jesus. This letter’s focus is on the preeminence that Christ can have in a person’s life. Personal study materials will be provided, free, that will give opportunity for each man to dig deeply into this letter themselves and facilitate a lively discussion as to the meaning we can take from this book to reinforce our hope as we walk with Jesus our Lord.
