Title/Topic:  Christianity in America (a video series with Dr. Stephen Nichols, church historian, college president, and chief academic officer for Ligonier Ministries founded by R.C. Sproul)

Have you ever spent time researching your family tree?  Have you wondered who the people were and what were the monumental events that forged the identity of your family? Many go to great expense to track down their human heritage. As followers of Christ, we realize that we all are part of a bigger family--the family of God. That family also has a story with significant heroes and heroines and historic hallmarks. This quarter we want to take time to discover some of the people and events that have forged the family story of the Church in America, our unique branch of the family tree. Knowing the past helps us understand the present and steer a path for the future. Using a video series from Dr. Stephen J. Nichols, coupled with some of our own studies, we will spend this fall gaining an appreciation for our own heritage, a perspective on the present, and a trajectory for our future.

Be sure to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 am in the Deschutes Room for this journey into our common story.
